AACD Accredited:  Dr. Jim Roethele is one of only 250 dentists in the world Accredited in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. The AACD is the largest cosmetic dental organization in the world with 8000 members. An Accredited Member earns that credential after passing the most rigorous oral, written and clinical exams in cosmetic dentistry. Rest assured that Dr. Roethele has committed himself to excellence and provides all types of dental treatment for your entire family. 

AACD Accreditation Examiner:  Dr. Roethele served as an Accreditation Examiner studying and grading the dentistry submitted by Accreditation candidates.

Smile Gallery Winner:   As an Accredited member and Examiner of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, He was a first place recipient of the 1996 and 2000 International Smile Galleries, sponsored by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and silver and bronze awards for the 2002, 2004, and 2005 competition.

Chairman of the American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry:  His involvement in the AACD is responsible for Dr. Roethele's election to be the Chairman of the American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry from 2003-2006. The ABCD is the "Credentialing Authority of the AACD".

LDA Young Dentist Award:  Dr. Jim is only the second dentist in history to receive the Young Dentist Award from the Louisiana Dental Association and served as PR Chairman.

NODA President:  He was President of the New Orleans Dental Association 2000/2001.

PFA  Fellow and Section Chairman: He received Fellowship to the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy and served as Chairman of the Louisiana Chapter from 2001 - 2003.

AGD Fellow:  With over 500 hours of continuing education, Dr. Roethele is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.

IADFA Fellow:  He is also a Fellow in the International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics.

Cofounder and President:  Dr. Roethele is also a cofounder of the Innovative Dental Study Group where he served as President.

ASD:  A 1983 graduate of USL, where he was the captain of the football team. As a member of the Academy for Sports Dentistry since 1989, Dr. Roethele has been the team dentist for many local athletic teams and was the Official Dentist of the Sugar Bowl. He has been interviewed on television, radio and the newspaper because of his involvement in organized dentistry and the community.

LSU:  Dr. Roethele is a 1989 graduate of LSU School of Dentistry. He served as a clinical instructor for the LSU Cosmetic Continuum. This is where dentists come from all over the world to learn more about cosmetic dentistry techniques and materials. LSU has the distinct honor to be the longest running continuum of its kind and has an unsurpassed reputation.

3M:  Dr. Roethele has also been involved with research and development for the 3M company on cutting edge products and materials for the dental profession.

Ow to Wow:  Dr. Roethele has lectured for national and state dental organizations on the prevention of traumatic injuries and treatment with cosmetic dentistry. One of his presentations is titled "From Ow to Wow" which he has also provided for local communities and clubs.

Woodlake Playground Booster Club President: Dr. Jim or "Coach Jim" as he is called during athletic competition in the city of Kenner has been involved with the Woodlake Gators since 2005 when his children were old enough to compete.  He coached basketball and baseball, but his true passion is on the football field.  He is served as President of the Booster Club from the untimely passing of Randy Luwe until August of 2013.

Divine Mercy Catholic Church:  Dr. Roethele and his wife Celeste were involved with the merger of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish and Nativity of our Lord Parish into Divine Mercy Parish.  They served on the Capital Campaign Committee for the construction of a Church.  Dr. Jim has been a member of the SEAS Parish holding Mass in the School cafeteria since 1987.  Celeste has served as President of the SEAS Home and School Association.  They both continue to serve as members of the Marriage Ministry.  Celeste serves on the Parish Council and as a Lector.
